Level 1 H&S in a Construction Environment
1 day course BSC Certificate. The new Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment allows employers, training providers and colleges to provide non-skilled construction workers with an essential foundation in health and safety at work, which will help make construction sites safer and healthier for everyone.
Level 2 Certificate in Supervising Staff Safely
This 2 day course is to give An accredited qualification for anyone with responsibility for the health and safety of others and along with the Level 2 Risk Assessment course is the equivalent to IOSH managing Safety. (which is a 4-day course)
Level 2 Risk Assessments
This 1-day course is to develop delegates with a solid understanding of the risk assessment process, in addition to the skills required to undertake a suitable and sufficient risk assessment. – Along with the Level 2 Certificate in supervising Staff Safely course is the equivalent to IOSH managing Safety. (which is a 4-day course)
Level 2 Award in Principles or Fire Safety
1 Day Course – This qualification introduces learners to the risks acssociated with fire controls available including the role of fire wardens. Fire is one of the biggest risks in the work environment.
Level 2 Award in Environmental Sustainability
1 Day Course – providing an introduction to the essential concepts of sustainability and introduce learners to ways in which they can reduce their environmental impacts, raise awareness around key environmental issues, explore the benefits of sustainable communities and encourage learners to reflect on their individual responsibilities.
From the 1 July 2014 those who need a CSCS Green Card have to complete a 1 day course, Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment This includes those entering the construction industry plus those who are renewing their card.

This ½ day training course is aimed at anyone who selects, mounts or uses abrasive wheels. The course covers different types of abrasive wheels.
Emergency First Aid at Work
A 1 day course in Emergency first aid at work, previously called appointed persons. This course will help you meet your regulatory requirements if your risk assessment indicates that first aid training covering emergency protocols only, is sufficient for your workplace. HSE First aid at work course. (3 days) It meets the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First aid) regulations.
Site Paperwork Management
1 day course on producing a H&S Paperwork folder for the site. The HSE will also want to see certain items in your site office should they make a visit to site. Paperwork and documentation is important, not just to comply with regulations, but also to communicate information and keep a record to document the procedures in place.
This ½ course is to develop awareness of ladder Safety and Awareness and how to control the risks.
It provides a complete introduction to ladder safety so that you can learn more about safe working practices, understand the relevant health and safety legislation and feel more confident about safely carrying out your workplace tasks.
This ½ day course is to develop awareness of Manual Handling and how to control the risks when at work. All workers should be trained in manual handling and the need to work safely and carry out a manual handling risk assessment.
This ½ day course is to develop awareness of office safety and how to control the risks when at work.
Avoidance of Underground Utilities (HSG 147)
This 1 day course is aimed at those carrying out work on or near underground services. It outlines the potential dangers of working near underground services and gives advice on how to reduce any direct risks to health and safety, as well as the indirect risks arising through damage to services.
This ½ course course is to develop awareness of lead and how to control the risks when they work with it. Working with lead could produce Lead dust, fume or vapour, make sure you have all the information and training you need to work safely.
This ½ course is to develop delegates’ awareness of legionella and how to control the risks. Have knowledge of the key legislation in relation to the control of legionella, and identify the health risks associated.
Work at Height Awareness
½ day course on Work at Height Awareness, to give appreciation of the Work at Height Regulations so that Work at Height operations are planned and undertaken safely.
This ½ day course is to develop awareness of Asbestos and how to control the risks when at work. It is a legal requirement that all workers who may come across asbestos in their day to day work are to have asbestos awareness training.
Confined Space Entry Awareness
This 1 day course is to develop awareness of Confined Space Entry and Awareness and how to control the risks.
Have knowledge of the key legislation in relation to the control of Confined Space Entry and Awareness, and identify the health risks associated with entry.
Noise and Vibration Awareness
½ day course on regular exposure to noise & vibration from hand-held tools or vibrating equipment can cause several kinds of injury to the hands and arms and can cause permanent hearing damage. Over one million workers in the UK are thought to be at risk of hearing damage from noise at work.
Site Safety Awareness
This 1 day course is to develop awareness of Construction Site Safety Awareness and is an ideal introduction for obtaining a basic understanding of health and safety duties and responsibilities, and becoming aware of hazards and risks on site and how to control the risks.
Fire Safety Awareness
This ½ day is ideal for delegates with no experience of fire safety, as a great induction to enable them to move on to train at a higher level. Training ensures delegates are equipped with essential fire safety understanding, including the causes of fires, effective preventative measures, and how to use fire extinguishers.
Environmental Awareness & Spill Control
½ day course to help comply with UK environment legislation on spill prevention and control. Training staff on how to prevent spills and minimise the impact on people, the business and environment, and give guidance on the different types of spill kits and their use for minor and major spills.
½ day course for Principal Contractors on CDM Regulations 2015 , to give understanding of the Regulations so that construction works are planned and undertaken safely.
